Peace Over Violence works with many schools throughout Los Angeles with their is a project of the California Department of Health Services and the California Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CALCASA), a statewide coalition of rape crisis centers and prevention programs founded in 1980.

The campaign, which enlists young men to take action to stop rape, is designed to raise awareness of sexual violence among youth and highlight the vital role that young men can play in fostering healthy, safe relationships.

The guide also includes information on how parents can communicate with their teens who are part of the digitally savvy generation.

Futures Without Violence works to advance the health, stability, education, and security of women and girls, men and boys worldwide through education, train professionals such as healthcare providers, coaches, and judges on improving responses to violence and abuse, and also work with policymakers and advocates to end violence against women and children.

National and statewide initiatives and campaigns are also in place to provide training, technical assistance, public awareness, and community programming focused on engaging youth, adults, and community members to address dating violence.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline: This 24-hour national service is available at 1-800-799-SAFE or 1-800-787-3224 (TDD) to assist in safety planning, information and referrals to local agencies.
